She has designed collections for the likes of Balmain, Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld, Givenchy, and Oscar de la Renta and is overwhelmingly inspired by the cultures of the world and the women she meets along the way.  Emphasising comfort as much as style, Laurence succeeds in delivering on both in ways few designers have.

Each and every one of these power boots are on my wish list.  But the Merli studded suede boots stole my heart the second I saw them –  beat up with the buckles undone and all..

(vintage white wool ‘knot’ dress, vintage leather snake belt)

This was literally one of my last chilly Autumn looks before getting on a plane for three months of sunshine.  Featuring the softest warmest wool, this dress does the best job of combining my two must-haves; comfort and uniqueness.  And in this case unique means so cool, I mean how good do these knots look?!  So to ensure this little beauty didn’t go to waste this Winter I lent it to my beautiful bestie who I know will be having some serious fun in one awesome dress..
